About Good Paws
Good dogs. Good citizens. Stronger partnerships.
Good Paws Dog Training is a veteran-owned training program in Savannah, Georgia, built around practical companion-dog skills, educated owners, and clear goals. We believe the best training strengthens both ends of the leash.

Why This Work Matters to Good Paws
As a veteran, learning to train dogs has been one of the most rewarding things I have done since leaving the military. The work gave me a sense of purpose, structure, and a deeper appreciation for the relationship between people and their dogs. Some of the most meaningful dogs I have trained went on to be placed with veterans living with the invisible scars of war. Watching those partnerships develop has been one of the most rewarding parts of this work, and I have personally found dog training to be healing, grounding, and full of purpose. That experience helped shape Good Paws. I want owners to leave training with more than a dog that can perform a few exercises. I want people to better understand their dogs, dogs to better understand what is being asked of them, and both to have a clearer path forward together.
