Cancellation, Refund & Makeup Policy

Effective October 1, 2026

Good Paws group courses reserve a limited seat for the full program. The following policy applies to S.T.A.R. Puppy Foundations and CGC Prep unless the booking page states otherwise.
 

1. Cancellation 7+ Days Before Class

Cancel at least 7 calendar days before the first scheduled class and you are eligible for:

• a full refund of paid course tuition; or

• transfer to a future equivalent Good Paws cohort, subject to availability.

Eligible refunds are processed to the original payment method where practical.
 

2. Cancellation Inside 7 Days

If you cancel fewer than 7 calendar days before the first class, fail to attend, or withdraw after the course begins, course tuition is nonrefundable.

If an emergency prevents participation, contact Good Paws. Any exception, credit, or transfer is considered case-by-case and is not guaranteed.
 

3. Missed Individual Classes

Missing an individual class does not create:

• a prorated tuition refund; or

• a guaranteed private makeup lesson.

Participants should continue with the released online lesson and home-practice material.

If an equivalent Good Paws group session is available, has space, and is appropriate for the dog-handler team, Good Paws may offer a courtesy makeup. Courtesy makeups are not guaranteed.
 

4. Good Paws Cancellations

If Good Paws cancels an individual session, we will normally reschedule it.

If a canceled session cannot reasonably be replaced, Good Paws will provide an appropriate prorated credit or refund.

If Good Paws cancels the entire course before it begins, paid course tuition will be refunded.
